Climate change within the arctic is incredibly difficult to help with, however, there are a few things that you can do. Of course, there is your standard moving towards renewable energy, as the major issue with arctic climate change is melting of polar ice caps, and carbon emissions heat up the planet. You could petition for change to your municipal, provincial, or perhaps even federal government. The World Wildlife Federation is currently working with local people and governments on mapping the "Last Ice Area", which is an area where summer sea ice is predicted to last longer than anywhere else on earth. Every little bit helps, so stop sitting here reading this and get up and take action! Before it's too late for the wildlife, and before it's too late for us.
